Can mapisend.exe work on win2k?
Have a win2k server running sp3 (sigh). Am trying to get mapisend to run a batch file. Comes up with " ERROR: MAPI Logon Failed: 3. Am logged on as a valid user with administrator rights, exchange as same user mailbox. Have looked on both knowledge base and technet. Help!!!

The event log doesn't have any entries in it.

OK, This is a shot in the dark, but doesn't that require that you have SMTP services installed?
I am not sure about that, but I will check...

Yes but under winnt 4 task scheduler in order for mapisend to work according to Microsoft it has to be started as a service logged on as a user. But in win2k it can't start in anything but local system.
