Win98 date problems
On a small network, one of the computers (Win98) has an unusual problem. The computer somehow stays a day behind. Today, September 4 displays as September 3. The user remembers to switch it to 4. But tomorrow on the 5th, it will display as Sept 4.
This creates a big problem with data entry as inventory is being registered on the wrong date.
What might cause this? I checked the bios and that contains the correct date.

Go into Date / Time properties and check that the correct time zone is selected.
I would also say to change out the battery on the mobo, may be bad, although normally you would just lose the date completely rather than a day.
