Damm right, If he tried that in my house he would be lucky to leave with minor injuries. If Smurfette was in the house and he tried the sh$t I would make sure he went down by any means and I'm pretty sure I wouldnt be thinking about using "minimal force" if he had a weapon. I would make sure as hell he would think twice about breaking into someone elses house.
I aint a violent guy but I am not afraid to step in when someone needs help, So I'm pretty sure I would act no different when someone came after me.

If that happened in the US, After I shot him I would have to go downstairs and get a knife out of the drawer and put it in his hand before I called the cops. Lord knows his family would try to sue me because after all "He was only trying to scare me!"

I think the scariest was when I was in South Africa last year. The gf's parents/family were talking about how messed up it was there. IF someone is in your house stealing something, raping your wife or daughter, trying to kill you...if you shoot tthem you better kill them. Once they are dead, you take their body to a river and dump it, or you bury it. Killing or injuring even when you are in danger can and will put you in jail and you will lose everything. No matter how much proof you have.

Her brother and her father always went everywhere with a gun, had several in the house. THey were almost waiting for the day that they could catch someone. Just a different freaky world out there.
