    Smile Bios menu

    Sys Specs:
    AMD XP 1800
    Asus A7V333/Raid onboard sound
    nVidia GeForce TI4600 128mb DDR
    Kingston 256 PC-2100 DDR

    Hi,
    Please forgive me for the lack of knowledge with bios. I have Award Bios and was wondering what these were in my bios:

    I have the tabs Main, Advanced, Power, Boot Exit.

    Under Advanced Tab>> Chip configuration:
    AGP Fast Write Control (enable/disable)
    Video Memory Cache Mode (UC/USWC) I set it on USWC
    Memory Hole At 15M-16M (Disabled/enabled)
    SDRAM 1T Command Control { Disabled/enabled/Auto)
    SDRAM Bank Interleave(none/2 banks/4banks/Auto)
    Graphic Aperture size (4/8/16/32/64/128/256mb) I set it on 256
    DRAM Burs Length (4/auto)

    UnderPCI Configuration:
    PCI/VGA Palette Snoop (Disabled/enabled)
    PCI Latency Time [32] I have the option to raise or lower by – or +.

    Basically, I just want to know what these options are. If this is too much to explain, can anyone refer me to a website? Thnx for taking the time to read it.
