ideas on making a good computer room
I am going to be moving into a new house. I an leasing it so I will not be able to make many large changes like rerouting A/C ducts and the like. So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on making a good computer room. I am planning on having an air purifier in the roo to help control dust.
Mainly what will be in the room will be my 2 or 3 computer (depending on how much stuff I am tinkering with), the 2 monitors I use with my main computer, and an APC Smart-UPS 1000 battery backup. Right now the temp in my bedroom is about 10 degrees higher than the rest of the house
Any ideas are always welcome.

well,I would pick a room that is the coolest and has the best ventilation, and has room for a tv and a small fridge for beer and make sure it's close to a bathroom or the backyard so you can go potty and not have to walk far.
lol,,sorry dude,,just having fun,I have a home network and pcs in two of our bedrooms and two in my office.pick a room also that you can stay up late surfing if you want and won't bother others in the house.
here is my main area/office.

I would throw down the cash for a window AC unit.

OK Crazy, what did you do with the junk? That's waaayyyy too tidy!
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Well, you probably won't need a humidifier considering where you live..and ac should handle dehumidification..i would consider outlets and what else they share circuits with..and a nice window with a good view..I always like that when I am sitting here scratching my head about something..(which happens more and more as I get older)..other than that..enough space to organize away from the main traffic of the house..

I love that Antec Case. I've got two identical to that, one of the blue ones, one I bought my Dad, and a pair of server cases too.
As far as setting up a computer room, get a good set of headphones for gaming, a couple bookshelves, a wide table, and a big box for recycling paper. I like sitting in front of a window too but you need blinds.

I've abandoned my desk to the junk, now I got a laptop, so I don't have to get out of bed
I'm in charge and I say we blow it up
