Local security policy not working correctly.

    win2k box.

i go to Control Panel, Admin tools, Local Security Settings, Sceurity options. Message text for users to log in.

One of the things we set is a pop up security type message that displays a msg. box stating that 'this a company Pc. Bla, bla bla...."

well, on one of our PC's it is not coming up.

Everything else works fine but I cannot get that stupid message to pop up.

has anybody seen anything like this. I'm running out of things here and really don't want to reload just to fix some stupid security message.
It's good to be the King.

You should use the secedit tool. It is a command line tool that can refresh the domain policy local policy or remove a corrupt policy.

do a secedit /? to review all of the options try the policy refresh first
