Windows XP Pro DOS Command
Hi All,
Trying to run an app. that has to be run in"real DOS Mode".
I am running Windows XP Pro, and I can only find Safe Mode with Command Prompt in the advanced start (press F8 during boot).
Is this the same thing?
If not how do I get just to a staight DOS command pompt?
In win 2K there is an option during the F8 boot for command prompt only.
Any help appreciated,
Cheers

Unfortunately, xp does not have a true DOS..only a DOS emulation..you are probably out of luck unless you set up a dual boot system with just dos and the program. I just finished upgrading an ambulance service for the same reason. They decided to upgrade the program instead of downgrading the os
