Compaq Presario cmos/bios access
I recently bought a Presario 5WV254 at a yard sale, and I can't access the CMOS and BIOS upon start up, as I do with any other computer.
1. I need to change the booting sequence to floppy, cd, then
hard drive, as opposed to its existing configuration.
2. If I am able to toggle it, I'm asked for a password I don't
know.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

An obstacle is something you see when you take your eyes off your goal.

MegaMod
As the Eagle said:
"In order to enter the Presario BIOS for setup, reboot the computer and watch the screen for the red Compaq logo. When you see the Compaq logo, and the cursor appears in the upper right corner of the screen, press the F10 key on the keyboard. Your various BIOS configurations will then be available to you."
Go here to download your Manuals & Service Guides.
Also, for your future reference, go here for drivers and updates for your Presario.

O.k., that I finally accomplished, but the floppy won't respond, now. Also, I can't remove it form the chassis.
