    Question runtime error

    I have a question concerning the popup screen for runtime errors. I recently installed Windows XP Home and installed Service Pack 1 a few days later. Shortly after, java runtime errors started popping up at certain websites...especially windrivers.com. I've installed Sun's Java Runtime Environment v.1.4.1.01. This did not solve the problem. I uninstalled the Service Pack...this did not help either? What can I do to supress these alerts?

    I haven't been able to find whitepapers on this issue at the microsoft website.

    I would suggest going to the Sun site for white paper documentation on this problem.

    I don't have a solution, and when I had the problem on certain web sites I e-mailed sun (actually submitted a bug report) and their response was to make sure I had the latest JVM and that they couldn't do anything else (troubleshooting) unless I submitted a complete debug dump.
