Question Can't see local web page

I have this sytem up and running

Server: Windows 2000 Advanced server running DNS

    Clients:
    PC1 - XP Pro
    PC2 - XP Pro

Cable Modem on D-link D704 (router, hub)

I use dns2go client for resolving my IP.

I have a webpage running on the server:

I can see the webpage from thie server, but, neither client can see the web page.

I can see the webpage from my machine at work

Anyone else have this problem before?

How do you have the router configured?

    problem

ok i think i know what your problem is...

you can see the page from your server because your server sends its DNS requests 2 yr isp's DNS...

you can see your site from work because the work client achines send their DNS requests 2 your companies server whick then FORWARDS it to their ISP.

Using DNS 2 GO doesn't mean that your 'in house' DNS server hosts the records for your site...instead, your DNS server needs to be set to forward requests to your ISP's server...

**before you try this... can u get your page internally by way of ur ip (ex. http://12.226.69.117)
if this works then it is only DNS that is trippin' u up... if it doesn't then your client machines can't even see it to resolve a name.
