I need a monitor cable...
For a 14 " ASI monitor the make doesnt mean anything but what I need is a cable that has a 9 pin female end to a standard 15 pin video card end.
I know they are not worth much but if anyone has one and cares to donate it to my Kids for there PC that would be great!
TIA.
I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.

Found a cable here:

but, that one isn't free.
What kind of monitor uses that adapter? Something very old or for a mac that you are trying to adapt to a PC? Odd.

its a 1995 ASI SVGA 14 " monitor it actually doesn't look that old. it will do the trick for my kids PC.
its meant for a Regular PC not a MAC. the cable that came with it froma flea market was the wrong one. i didnt notice till i got home with it. though I only paid 15$ CDN for it.
Thanks for the link though.. I have this posted everywhere I can think of so hopefully I'll get it for free.

Actually those directions are not quite what I need I have the 9 pin female going to the monitor and the 15 pin svga to the video card (computer).
so the directions are not the same. on this cable I have with the 15 pin end it has 14 colored wires and a ground plus a tinfoil covering.
I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.

I wouldn't guarantee it, but it should work backwards.
