Really ODD PowerPoint Issue!
OK, I have a really, really weird PowerPoint 97 issue.
When I cut/paste an image into a blank PowerPoint slide, and go to FILE -> SAVE AS, and try to save it as a GIF, it saves it just fine but then changes the name to fileJPG, with no extension. For example, if I tried to save the picture as a gif called picture, it would create a file called pictureJPG,. (Notice the "," (comma) after "JPG") Very, VERY odd. If I rename the file to picture.gif it works just fine.
Also, if when I'm in the SAVE AS dialog box I type the name of the file and select the GIF format, it changes the name to picture.jpg (of course, it still saves it as "pictureJPG,")
Has anyone ever seen this??

I have no solution for you, but just wanted to say that I have appearently been inundated with so many computer acronyms that for a moment I looked at the title and tried figure out what ODD stood for
