    Post bad sectors

It seems to me that when I get bad sectors on a drive (even if scandisk marks them and moves the data to a stable sector)they replicate like a virus.....Is there a way to remedy this that i'm just not privy to?

Don't hesitate the next time you power-up your computer it could be your HD's final hurrah. I recommend the IBM deskstar GXP line of HD's. They're quiet, fast and dependable.
    end of line.
