Red face Source or forum for bulk used parts

    Hello
I work at a computer store and we are hurting on older parts eg. ISA 56/33k modems, 8.4 and below hdd's, and older mainboards. Where besides Ebay can I find out who has cheaper bulk parts?

We have a 40 or 50% markup so that should give a rough idea of what we are looking at. But even if we can't compete pricewise with Ebay or the web sites it is good in that we are a store and charge no shipping.

All I need is a forum or newsgroup where I can find more than just onesies or twosies.
    Thanks
    Ken

This must be a market of diminishing returns...
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Heh. It is about time your "customers" came into the new century.

You can't continue to support out-dated hardware.

    And 50% markup????

Damm, give me some of that!

When I worked at Computer Resource we stocked all of the crap you are looking for... drove some of the staff nuts that beside brand new Pentium 4s we would have ancient 486s.

If other CRs are like my old one, they will be happy to cut you a deal on this old stock. You will be the one with the bargaining power here. Make them an offer you like and be very surprised if they don't take it.

    Happy Holidays everybody
