    USB 2.0 mix and match?

If I have a usb 2.0 card with two ports and I put one usb 2.0 device on 1 port and a Usb 1.1 on the other will they 1)Both run at usb1.1 or 2) the usb 2.0 device will run at 2.0 and the 1.1 device at 1.1?
Second question. If I have a usb 2.0 device running on a usb 2.0 port and the device also has a port for another device and that other device is 1.1 will both run at 1.1 or both at their max. speeds?

Question 1, the answer is "the usb 2.0 device will run at 2.0 and the 1.1 device at 1.1"

Question 2, it depends. Personally, I would not chain 2.0 and 1.1 devices if I could help it because of the compatibility issues. Get a USB 1.1 hub, plug all your USB 1.1 devices in there, and save the USB 2.0 ports for the devices that can use it!
