Who's armed?
Not a topic for the gun-control crowd....
I'm curious, does anyone here own any firearms?
Me, I own two Lee-Enfields, both No1 Mark 3's, one of Ishapore manufacture, and one English.
A .22 Marlin for the kids, and a Polish M44 carbine.
As a family, we go to the range every couple of weeks...I arranged last summer to set up "the Great I.T. Shoot-Out" at my local range, turns out quite a few of the techs here where I work are also enthusiasts...

I have about 7 or 8 supersoakers and maybe 3 nerf guns and a nerf missle launcher.
It's the only fun way to shoot people.

To the Teeth!
I have two 9mm pistols. I always thought about going to a heavier caliber, but it costs allot less to shoot these 9's then a .45. And both are grandfathered, the Glock will hold 18 in the clip, the S&W (short barrel) will hold 12. So I can use more bullets if I have to and I wont run out. Plus I can shoot better than someone with a .45, cause I get to practice more often!

A neon green water gun for the cat.
Does the gun that went with my original Nintendo count?
Other than that, not in my house.

What stupid law?
I bought my first in Newport Beach like 8 years ago. I had to wait, I think it was 21 days before I could pick it up. The only thing I got out of was the 2-hour safety course because I was active duty in the Marines. I think it saved me like 30 or 50 dollars too.
How much more ridiculous could they get out there???

you buy any gun.. except black powder guns, its a 10 day waiting period right now.. if you gotz a handgun then you take a test...
well now there passing a law to limit more guns and make it so you must take a safty test everytime you buy a gun.. now Im not against a safty test buy comon, every time you buy a gun!?!?!?
hhe thing that gets me is this...
We are not allowed to have assualt wepaons, ak47 etc.. there trying to ban the sks
but check this out, its legal for me to own a AWP 50 cal sniper rifle ($4000-$10,000 gun)
this gun would just do so much damage but its not banned hummm
california, I want to move just for the gun laws and the smog laws

Actually, I like that idea. Kind of like carding everone for booze even if they are 60. If you get in the habit of doing it, no one gets missed.
I have a Mini-14 with a preban steel 30 round clip
.45 Taurus special edition
A .22 my dad had when he was a kid and another plinker.
Looking at buying a competion .22 and entering contests. They pay pretty well around here. I am a sport shooter so those .22 are nice an cheap to shoot.

Kalifornia isn't known for it's brilliant polititians. The funny part is that the Berkley riots (a movement with freedom at it's core) was inadvertantly responsible for anti gun craze that still exists there. The riots started peacefully, then got more and more violent until the Black Panthers joined in, walking throught the streets with shotguns and advocating "kill whitey". That scared the $hit out of Joe America and along came gun control... led largely by the same people who were initially advocating freedom.
It just goes to show, as the group gets larger the collective IQ gets smaller.
