Beep Codes
I have a computer here that when it boots up (not consistently), it gives a long series of beeps, all even beep, beep, beep, beep, etc. I have a beep code sheet here, but this beep is not listed. This computer doesn't always do this, as it seems to "heal" itself. I suspect the power supply, but would welcome any input as to other sources.
Thanks in advance.

Continuous bleeps usually mean that the motherboard / processor cannot detect the RAM during post. I suggest that you re-seat (or replace with known good) the memory module(s). Whilst you've got the case open check that the video card is properly seated as well although with most machines this usually gives a continual bleep or a series of long bleeps.
Bleep codes do vary with different motherboards, so "bleep lists" are only really any use when specifically written by the actual board supplier.
Now where did I leave my Lump Hammer?
