NTL broadband sharing between 2 pc's
Customer has one machine upstairs & one machine down stairs.
Down stairs is connected to NTL broadband via usb/ethernet converter to the TV set box.
He wants both systems 2 be able to access the NTL broadband
Can he connect both systems via wireless network so they can boyh access the broadband or does he have 2 have a router.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
The customer is always right sometimes confused, mis-informed,rude, stubborn, changeable and even downright stupid. BUT NEVER WRONG
It doesnt matter how many times you phone us your computer wont get fixed any quicker.

If each computer has an ip address from the ISP you can use just a hub. If not a wireless router would be the best choice. I recommend linksys. You can try Windows internet sharing, in my experence it seems much slower than the router solution.
