formatted my hd..sound!
i had formatted my hd.....and all was going ok...got win98 installed...thenn......no sound, i dont think i got a real sound card but i may have a modem/soundcard. ill list what my system settings says for audio things (codecs and ect.)

800 mhz intel mmx processer

Looks like there are no native Win98 drivers for your sound device. I'm afraid we won't be able to point you to the necessary drivers until you supply a little more info. We'll either need the make/model of your PC or the make/model of your motherboard.

STOGGIE I had a similar prob when I first set up my PC the sound was almost inaudable, I got a new sound card wasnt much dosh and the sound is now brill! If you have a spare PCI slot and £25 to spare it may solve the prob.
