    Some good security certifications

    I found out today that my boos wants me to become the security guy and I am to start going for certs. What are a couple good certs to go after in a windows environment?

    I think adept hit the one that most employers want. Microsoft doesn't have a whole lot in the way of security but course 70-220 is a good place to start. If you want to make a boatload of money convince your boss to pay for the CCIE Security Specialist classes.

    Well first, how much experience do you have in security. i hear CISSP is THE cert to get but you should have some experience in the field before you tackle it. Maybe start with Security+ from Comptia.
    I think the problem is either an ID10T or PEBCAK error

    I have a little background in security. Mostly going through MCP and cisco training and expanding on what I learned from there.
