    A Light In The Attic? This is a favorite of my wife's from her childhood. I guess we must be terrible parents because we currently read it to our daughters (ages 6 months and 3 years).

    A Wrinkle In Time? This was a favorite of mine in elementary school. It was a Newberry award book.

    Funny that there isn't and Shakespeare plays on here.... I guess talking about sex, incest, and other variants is ok as long as it is a "great work."

    That list is completely littered with political agendas, from right to left wing agendas. That is the only way this list makes sense to me.
