    Question Getting Drivers

    how can I get the drivers off a machine so I don't need to look for them online. I want reformat a hard drive but I don't want to spend half a day looking online for drivers

    Otherwise you have to find all your driver cd's or download them ready for install.

    Unless you're talking about old, legacy devices who's drivers are no longer readily available for download, the approach you're suggesting just wouldn't be practical at all. It would be problematic at best and could actually be more time consuming than simply finding and downloading the necessary drivers.

    That program looks pretty good. Even if the drivers won't go in from the backup it makes, the info on the drivers should let you know if you have gotten the right ones.
