    Resolved [RESOLVED] jumpers seting help!!!!!!!

    hi there!

    im tring to install a new ibm scsi hd in my server but i cant find the jumpers seting in ther web page!

    please if some one have the jumpers seting for ibm's hd can help me!

    The only jumper that you should move on that hard drive is whether it needs to be terminated or not.
    The last drive on the cable needs to be terminated, all others on the cable should not be terminated.
    There is no jumper for master or slave.
    An obstacle is something you see when you take your eyes off your goal.

    You won't need to set a jumper for master/slave (for IDE drives), but you will need to make sure that it is jumpered for a unique SCSI ID on the SCSI chain. Try this page at IBM:

    And, like Eagle PC said, if this drive is at the end of the SCSI cable you'll need to set the jumper for termination.
