unwanted DNS-request opens SoHo-Router connection
Hi,
my network is a 4 PC home-LAN with a 10/100-switch and an ISDN-Router (with NAT configured) connected to it.
I have newly installed a Win2Kpro-Client and I always get those DNS-requests (every minute or so), even though I don't do anything.
I have installed the Outpost Firewall and to make surfing work, i have to open DNS for outgoing connection...
Does anybody knows, what program/service requests those DNS at Win2K? ... or how can i look for this proggi?
Thanks for your tipps
Higg
