How to make an exe floppy image?
Sorry about the title, really didn't know how to describe it in a few words....
OK, here's what I would like to accomplish!
We currently make images of floppy disks using Winimage, (fantastic Utility), and these images can be "ghosted" back on to floppies using Winimage again.
We would ideally like to accomplish the same thing, but from an .exe file. IE. Someone double clicks the .exe file and is told to insert a floppy disk, then the .exe file writes an image on to the floppy creating a workable floppy.
So does anyone know of any application that can make an .exe file from a copy of a floppy that can be used to "ghost" another floppy.
Many apologies for the bad explanation, I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

Well you know the name ... so this is no surprise ....
Mmmm..... since your explanation is 'Oh so clear' ??? ... (explain it again!) ..... then write a batch file then & create a shortcut to run it.... I'm sure a man of your talents can manage that ....

ps
from winimage help
With WinImage's self extractor, you can create a Win32 x86 .EXE file with one or several image files.
If you are a registered user of WinImage professional, you can redistribute this executable without restriction.
The file.exe you create can be used under Windows NT-x86/Windows 2000/Windows XP, Windows 95/98/Me and Windows 3.1 with Win32s 1.30c installed.
How to create a self-extracting file:
-_Create a .IMZ or a .WLZ file with WinImage
-_ Under the File menu, select Create Self-Extracting file…
-_in the "Select source Image file" screen, click on "Select an image source file" and select the .IMZ, .WLZ or .IMA
-_in the second screen, select the .EXE file to create
To create a self-extracting file with one image, you can also open this image and Under the File menu, select Create Sel
f-Extracting file…Then create the EXE from the image in memory.

See, this is why I come to Windrivers so much! I post a real bad explanation of what I want, and Kato comes up with an answer, I check it out, find I need Winimage Professional to do that, download the demo from the web site, spend $60 to register it and I have EXACTLY WHAT I NEED
Thanks Kato. Thanks Confus-ed too, that would have worked if I wasn't too damned lazy!
