 [RESOLVED] Cisco Roter MOD
Yo I jsut got a gret idea. I am gonna mod teh cisco router we got. it's cisco3660 and it's just plain. ithink i'm gonna put a window in the fron then a analog volt metre on the side and paint it with an aqua color paint. either that or put it in a acrilc case with cold lights.

Why don't you take the cover off, paint the insides and then submerge it in water so that it can be water cooled.

Um, just in case this does actually turn out to not be a joke. If you do what you want to do you void the warranty on a piece of equipment that probably costs more than you do.

Ya I have a Sun Spark rack system but its kinda plain so I am going to install windows on it and overclock it.
after that I am going to put 1000 fans in it and modify my car radiator so I can keep my 10 gig CPU cool.
yup thats what I'll do

That's an expensive router you got there. Is it yours or the company's you work for?
Rather than f@@@@@@ around with that one, maybe you can buy an old discontinued cisco router off of ebay for cheap and do whatever you want to it. If anything happens to it, then it won't matter.
If this router isn't yours and something goes wrong with it, then you are S.O.L. and warranty voided.
If it's yours, then whatever.
