SCSI hard drive isn't recognized on Adaptec 29160 card.
On one of the machines that I support, I've installed an Adaptec 29160 SCSI card. It has two seperate channels with each supporting up to 15 devices. Anyway my problem is that my older Baracudda from Seagate isn't recognized (running windows 98 SE). More details on the channels: one supports LVD, the other as the manual is saying is for the rest kind of devices. The Seagate is a SCSI 2 I believe (not sure) The transfer speed is 40MB/s. Does anyone know if this specific card supports this kind of drives or there is a solution.
All SCSI users respond. :P
