Norton Antivirus
I am about to install Norton antivirus 8.0 and exchange server filter 3.0 on my Exchange 2000 server. Is/Are there any precautions that I have to take before doing this??

It works well for me. No problems with the installation on my SBS server.

I haven't had any problems with the Exchange scanning feature. But if you're worried, you can use exmerge, or other methods, to backup the mailboxes to .pst files before you deploy.

No I haven't had any problems with my Exchange server either. Exchange server is a part of SBS. I use the corporate version and I do not notice any slowdowns in my incoming mail. Product works as advertised.
