Nimda
Hello,
my server was attacked by NIMDA today fortunately I switched from XP/IIS yesterday to Mac OS X w/Apache2.
I know that NIMDA don't works on Macs so I'm secure there but I dunno if my other PCs has been infected (one of them was acting really strange today) therefore I'm wondering, is there a fast way to find out if Im infected or not? Just find out.
Thanks,
Bjorne

the most thorough way would be to disconnect the pc(s) from the network and run the removal tool from symantec. takes a few minutes per pc, but worth the time for piece of mind.

For a good tutorial on securing IIS for Windows XP IIS 5.1 go Here
For Windows 2000 IIS go Here
Its pretty thourogh on showing potential threats that you wouldnt think of.
As far as nimda goes I dont think that virus will ever die.
