IBM netvista 8315 win98 drivers

Uninstalled the preloaded xp and put on 98se for compatability with old apps in office.
Now in device manager I have problems with the pci power management bus and pci usb bus.
IBM tells me too bad because it is preloaded and those drivers are not available from there site.

Can anyone help with hard to find drivers of that nature?

Hello mkirk,
I know IBM can really be Pain in the A$$( I had the "Pleasure" to install/reinstall thier computers), so be patient.
IBM works in a driver Matrix - this meants that they have driver that fits few models hardware.

Also go to www.belarc.com download the free personal audit and look under main circuit board - if it's an identifiable motherboard you can use the drivers from the original manufacturer, failing that look at the chipset and find and equivalent chipset driver... for instance, if its an intel 845 go and download the drivers for an intel desktop board from www.intel.com and try those.
