autocad 2002 layer manager
anyone encounter the layer manager does not reflect the current layer in the drawing the version used is autocad 2002 installed on a w98se computer.

What do you mean by "the layer manager does not reflect the current layer in the drawing"? I had to move off the Win98 platform with Release 14 of AutoCad, too many problems with crashes, ect. Much more stable with NT and 2002 runs like a dream.

Hi! you are right the layer manager does not reflect the current layer of the drawings & it seems to affects all drawing

Hi! i just want the layer manger to highlight the current layer whenever i click on a layer in a drawing as currently whatever layer i click it is not reflected by autocad

I think what you mean to say is:
"When I select an object in AutoCAD, the layer of that object is not reflected in the object properties toolbar"
Is that right?

I haven't used 2002 yet, but if you haven't applied the service pack, I would try that first: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...linkID=2475161

i've tried apply the servicepak but the fault still persist even tried posting in their forum but got no reply from them as well
