Printer that prints 8.5 x 5.5
Does anyone know of a printer that will print half sheets of paper (8 1/2 x 5 1/2). I need a printer that does 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 NOT 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. It needs to be a Laser printer.
Any and all help is apperiacted.
Thanks
Rick

i am not aware of any..but maybe if you could tell us what you are trying to do, we might be able to come up with an alternate solution.
Some people are like Slinkies . . . not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs

My hp 4 l and my sharp 1800+ will both print on that size... the catch? Hand feeding...
Some printers have an envelope feeder - that would be the right size...

The printer the customer has now will do 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 using the manual feed tray, but they want to print the 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 paper from a large feed tray not the manual feed.

Errrrr ummm ... just google for ... 'A5' or 'statement' laser printer ?
They are certainly out there ....
A4 here is standard size paper ... 1/2 that size is A5 ... americans being americans have their own standard size don't they ?? which here is refered to as 'letter' which is just a bit bigger than a4?.... 1/2 letter is refered to as 'statement' which in turn is just a tad bigger than A5.

Print on 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and set printing to landscape mode... That would be the easiest way.

My HP6110 can print on 5x8. An image or doc can be rotated effectively making it 8x5. However, this is an inkjet, but one of their recent laser printer may have the same printing options.
