Anyone familiar with this bag of SH**T
Got it forced on me for a upgrade (The Wife)
Ali Chipset
No web support
goes beep four times on boot (Continous)
Smells like its overheating
Someone has been at this.

any idea if it's ami or award BIOS??

If the board doesnt post it maybe a wrongly inserted BIOS IC.
burnt out component, if you can give more details it would be great

Actually it was a naff fan (coolermaster) with 3lbs of paste sticking it to a Duron wall to wall style (reminded me of the Polycell Wallpaper paste advert)
Swapped out the Ribbons (its a new hitachi drive)
The ribbon may last longer.
Cleaned the processor @ fitted a fan.
Here we go
