    Faster

    Does the forum seem faster to anyone else or is it just me, or is it because its 5:44 AM?

    Just you... Unfortunately I started having problems loading some of the graphics (it's a random thing). However, I have 16 hops from my work computer to my home proxy (I don't like my surfing being monitored ) and from there 14 more hops to the forum...

    i've noticed it's faster.. maybe that's just me though

    It's faster for me, depending on the graphics involved and the advertising... but on the whole this thread for instance loaded in less than 5 seconds. Pressing the reply button is almost instaneous - something I used to have to wait for before!
    Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

    Im glad that others are noticing the speed increase too, i thought my lack of sleep had started to have an effect on me

    Definitely faster. I have high speed access and used to be frustrated at how slow the pages took to load. Now it is much better. Winxp Pro with all updates.

    I'm noticing it slower, MUCH slower, like about about twice as long to load webpages. Is it all the Active X or JAVA? I have 56K so Its never fast, but it seems that I'm having to wait an awfully long time to turn a page.
