    Question ATI and the NVIDIA chipset

    Hey guys,

    I just ordered the Abit NF7-S (ver 2) MOBO with the NFORCE 2 chipset. Im gonna be using it with an XP 3000+ 400FSB.

    My question involves the compatability of the NForce 2 chipset with ATI video cards. I will be transplanting a 64MB DDR Radeon 8500 into this system and I have a slight concern about the NVIDIA chipset getting along with the ATI video card.

    Has anyone here run into issues with ATI video cards and the NFORCE 2 chipset?

    There should be no problem, but you may want to check out the forums at http://www.nforcershq.com/ to see if your specific cards requires "special attention" if you're a tweak/overclock freak.
