What Does the Numbers Lock Key Do?
Hey Gang,
A question that has always bugged me. What is the 'Numbers Lock" key for and why is it always on?
Thanks,
Orangeman

or off... makes it a navigation pad instead....
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Actually I just tried turning off and on the navigation pad using the numbers lock key. It still worked whether it was on or off.
BUT turning it on did 'capitalize' every key in the 10-key, or navigation pad. So that the 'home' key became a 7, the 'end' key became a 1, etc.
So I guess it turns the 10-key (accounting) pad into a navigation pad...
Thanks,
Orangeman

You have Ya_Know to answer to.
Forget it, I'm grabbing the first bus to Iraq.....I think my chances are better there...
On second thought, maybe I should just ask NooNoo to protect me...Aw forget that too, she'd probably just grab the gun away from Ya_Know and shoot me herself....
