What Does the Numbers Lock Key Do?

    Hey Gang,

A question that has always bugged me. What is the 'Numbers Lock" key for and why is it always on?

    Thanks,
    Orangeman

or off... makes it a navigation pad instead....
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Actually I just tried turning off and on the navigation pad using the numbers lock key. It still worked whether it was on or off.

BUT turning it on did 'capitalize' every key in the 10-key, or navigation pad. So that the 'home' key became a 7, the 'end' key became a 1, etc.

So I guess it turns the 10-key (accounting) pad into a navigation pad...

    Thanks,
    Orangeman

On second thought, maybe I should just ask NooNoo to protect me...Aw forget that too, she'd probably just grab the gun away from Ya_Know and shoot me herself....

Damn, I don't shoot AOL users - they are special, they need to be educated. I have a 12 point plan going and a shortbus for them to get to school

Errr your post count has either been reduced or I can't read (a distinct possibility) or someone tampered with it, who'd do a thing like that, he said 'almost' invisably ???

On second thoughts I'd better quote that to make it 'clearer'

    But that doesn't work either ! (Now I am confus-ed) - here's what I 'said' ...

"Or applying my newly discovered 'odd/even' rule ... perhaps you wrote them invisably ?" (No 'color' involved that time!)

As for Orange, you think you got what it takes to go to Iraq? You better not be going there alone!
