ICS and VNC
Is there a way to VNC into a machine that is behind a win 2k pro Internet connection-sharing box? The WAN is a static ip, and the LAN is set to DHCP. Granted, the LAN side could be set up for static so the ip of a machine is not a guess after the lease expirers. Using Tight VNC for this project.
Get me a soldering iron and some duct tape, and I'll see what I can do.

This is what I do for pcanywhere and my linksys router.
I configure my router with DMZ to forward the ports from
it to my workstation.
I would figure it would be the same for your situtation with difference
in hardware/software.
Thanks,
Roland

There is a big difference in that he is using ICS and not a hardware based router.
