IE6 - need install/update without internet access
guys,
I'm in dire need of redist files for IE6, IE6 SP1 for 98/2000/XP. I need to be able to install the browser locally without connecting to the internet as the sites I work from sometimes have no internet or simply a 56K modem, it'd also mean installing it a dozen times over the internet at each site!
Any ideas? doesn't seem to be anything on the microsoft webby for this but I'm sure it was available for IE5

See if This is what you are looking for. Sorry for the little reading but it is the best I can offer for now. Once downloaded, burn to CD with an autorun.inf and you should be good to go.

Go buy any pc mag with a cd - it should have the latest on there.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

For reference I got this by downloading the IE6SP1 updater file, putting it in a new D:\IE6 folder and running this from the windows/run command box:
D:\IE6\ie6setup.exe /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d:1 /s:""#E"
downloads IE6SP1 full installer for 98/ME/XP/NT/2000.
