The reasons for both seem to be the same for me

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

Reason for not getting married....
The bitch ruined my life, I got deeply into debt, left a great job and a great promotion, left my friends and family, gave her everything she could have wanted, endured fatty coworker, and she decided no.
The reason, women are heartless and are even more clueless on what love really is than men.
Guess I really need to start dating again.

reason we dont get married : attached to own checking account, have good sense
reason we do - want to cut yearly salary by 50% or more, and have no damn sense

Good grief, did you guys take your sour pill today?
Been married for 18 years to a great guy (sometimes). We were friends first (for about 5 years before we fell in love). It's not all a shotgun affair, you know.

And you are god's gift to women? Give the guy a break. Not everyone can be as big of a pimp as you.

obviously I'm in the minority here, but I love being married. I love my wife. she's my best friend . . . . there's no one I'd rather spend time with. My wedding day was one of the most enjoyable and memorable days of my life.
We don't fight much at all, and our communication, though not perfect, it's pretty good. It's not always easy, but it's always interesting and fun.
All the logisitics of day to day life together including finances always seem to work themselves out. . . . I'm sure I probably could've gotten a little bigger refund last year if I filed single, but so what. and yeah I have to give up on some computer and electronic toys sometimes to make sure the family bills are getting paid and we have plenty of diapers and baby food stocked, but so what? I'd do it all again in a second.
if there are two things I'm most proud of they are being a good husband and a good father.
