Windows 2000/XP Required boot files to CD

    Here is the problem.

Have a laptop with no floppy drive and a Windows 2000 boot problem. I know you can put NTLDR, NTDETECT, and boot.ini on a floppy and have 2000 bypass those files on the harddrive, but does anyone know of a way to get NTLDR, NTDETECT, and Boot.ini on a CD and have the PC boot from that CD?

I haven't had any luck on getting this to work. I have tried putting those files into a bin and creating a bootable CD through Roxio, but still no luck.

    Thanks in advance

Why not just use the 2k cd and boot to repair console?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
