can i have two versions of linux using the same swap file
Got a question.
I dual boot winxp and mandrake 9.2 with no problems now and have plenty of room on my hard drive to play with.
I'm not too satisfied with the new mandrake 9.2.
Would it be possible to install 9.1 and use mandrake 9.2 swap file ?
I can go either way I have plenty of disk space so it's no problem to create another area.
I have mandrake set up with the /root , /user, /home , and of couse the swap file.
Can I use the /user and the /home also for both 9.1 and 9.2 ?
I was just wondering and can try it and if it crashes either system it's no big deal i can just reinstall as their not much out their yet to worry about.
I just want to keep windows XP safe.
Thanks
