ATI New Drivers.. Are they for Me?
I went to the ATI website to see if there were new drivers for my All-In-Wonder 7500. Anyway, is this "Catalyst" driver what I need? I could not find anything specific for the card, just that this driver is for Radeon cards.

That's it. It's similar to the detonator universal drivers for nVidia cards and the VIA Hyperion 4 in 1s. They're universal.

I am still on the catalyst 2.3's with my 7500 and mmc 7.6 - Hey it works, why break it?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Lets just say they are "supposed" to be universal and work with everything, the older versions worked with my mobility 9000, but the newest ones say i dont have any ATI hardware

Thanks for the help. I check periodically for a new driver and read the fix list on the driver to see if I need it. If I redo the computer, I usually put on the newest driver as well.

Did you though get the 'new bits' (so multimedia centre, hydravision, maybe remote control?) & then reinstall the lot ? or at least re-install your old ones?
The way they work is that when you install a new catalyst driver you 'ought' to first uninstall the old drivers & get windows to see a 'standard vga', but sometimes this 'breaks' the links to the asscociated bits, by the time you've re-installed the new driver.
So I always remove absolutely everything associated with that card, then re-apply the lot
