    Haven't checked here in a while & thought I had the record today, but I guess 5114 is only enough for second.

    well here is the current record for the shop i work at. we ended up having to scan this computer 4 or 5 times to get it all removed.
    for a record of 7,869 pieces over 1,000 of them was just enters in the registry.
    adware record 11/15/04 7,869 removed

    How long did it take to boot to a useable state with that lot onboard?

    well i had to boot into safe mode to get anything done. i tried to start it into normal mode to begin with. and all i could do is sit there watch all these stupid error message looking things fill the screen i waited probally 10 minutes before i decided to unplug the thing and try to work in safe mode.
