    Anybody else suffering from SARS?

No, not that kind. I'm talking about Some Assembly Required Syndrome. I thought that up while assembling a 'My Little Pony' castle playset tonight. Oh wait, I mean this morning.

It was my first Christmas assembling gifts for a kid *sniff*

Of course, if it had been Transformers or G.I.Joe or something, I wouldn't have needed the frickin poorly-drawn, poorly-worded, un-step-numbered instructions.

I'm trying to blow up an inflatable basketball stand/net type thing. Given up half way through for a cuppa and a breather!!!!!!

    Still smiling!

Hmmmm you call yerself a tech fatal? Which tech reads the manual anyways?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Amateurs all of YA!!! Just remember these things:

In the immortal words of my Dad "If all else fails read the directions."

When you have to inflate a gift...keep a shop vac handy and reverse the air flow from suck to blow.

To paraphrase NooNoo-"Never appoach an unassembled computer desk thinking this will only take a little while." Be prepared with tools that the instructions usually do not mention. A 5 pound mauling hammer , drill and clamps come to mind.

If it doesn't work box it back up and regift it next year!

Ah no kids is a plus, but jump in there to help with the niece, nephew, cousin or friends toils and tribulations. It will give you a gnu perspective!
I only post using 100% recycled electrons!!!

Stay on the bomb run, boys. I'm going to get them doors open if it hair lips everybody on Bear Creek.

G/F's kids got Transformer Armada and I needed the instructions. These things have a damn skill level! 3 of 4...Can't imagine what a 4 is. When I was a kid transformeres were easy

One year I sat up with my sister to put together 2 of the larger Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles play sets for her son way back when. 5 plus hours later we were done. In the words of my father, "Who ever was in charge of designing these directions should be taken out into the street and shot."
