    What is the program?
Exactly which version of windows do you have?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Yes; it ran fine and then it will not work with speadsheets; Have uninstalled it and reloaded but to no help. I did an update on intel 810 chipset graphics driver recently though.

Its not something 'dumb' like not enough space, or it getting confus-ed over fat32 & 2 gigs?

What does the actual install try & do before 'erroring' ?does it start copying or anything or just give up straight away ?

The program is installed but will not load files from any sreadsheet files; it acts like the files loaded but can not be viewed. If I load a spreadsheet file on floppy at work and bring it to this PC it will not load; other files like templates and word processor files will load. spreadsheet files say internal kernal error 3.
