No Sound in GTA (3) Vice City
Hey Gang,
I'm having some problems getting sound in GTA Vice City (3). When I try to configure sound, I get an error sayng "No Sound Hardware"
When I run the sound component (techaudio) it starts up fine. It evidently wants to convert my sound files. Then I get an error saying Win2RAW just crashed. (This is McAfee Crash protector) Win2RAW is a file in the Audio file.
Any ideas?
Win98SE
Thanks,
Orangeman

Disable McAfee when you run the game. What happens?

You mean McAfee Antivurus? I don't use it. I do have other McAfee products, like parts from McAfee Utilitlies. Should I uninstall them?
Thanks,]

This problem was ultimately resolved by having a friend give me a copy of his rip file via WinRAR. For some reason the sound didn't want to configure in my machine by itself.
Good Luck,
