    That is frickin hilarious!!! I have not laughed that hard at work in a long time. My coworkers are staring at the techs wondering what is so funny!


    I guess it is also that I laughed harder at that than 90 percent of the sitcoms on t.v. today!

    It needn't be just tcp - lots of protocols do 'handshaking' in very much the same way - 'ACKnowledge & SYNch' are terms used extensively, however most folks have heard it happening
