Removing Linux Dual Boot from XP

Okay.. so I decided to try out Linux (Mandrake 10) and decided I no longer wished to try out linux... so I just deleted my second partition and resized my XP one. However, the Linux Boot loader still comes up. How do I get rid of it so I can boot straight into XP again? Sigh.

Boot to a command prompt and issue : FDISK /MBR

this will restore the Master Boot Record and remove GRUB or LILO.

BE very careful with FDISK as it can kill your install very easily. Only issue that command.

with XP go to the recovery console and type in fixmbr and fixboot.

fdisk /mbr is for fat32 file systems
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
