GForce FX 52000 problems.. any help?
I have a G Force FX 5200 video card, PCI, 128 MB's and im running windows xp.. the card has ran very good and i have had it for about 10 months now.. until today when i turned my computer on the screen was orange, then it turned green and such. So I figured it was the video card. I switched and put an older video card i own in and now my computer works... This old video card is only 64mb.. Anyone have any advice on whats wrong with my 128 MB one?
Thanks.

It could possibly be any one or more of the surface-mount components on the video card, but most likely is the FX5200 GPU itself. Since you've had it for 10 months, it's presumably out of warranty and not exchangeable. Getting an RMA and returning it to the manufacturer may be more expensive than the card is worth.
This appears to be one of those unfortunate cases of sudden unexplained circuit death; all you can do is replace the card and move on. Just make sure your motherboard's PCI slots are 2.1 revision or later to properly support 64MB and 128MB video cards.
When all else fails.....FDISK!
