Any advice on finding sound card drivers for a hp 751n?

I have been trying to find the sound drivers for this dang computer and nothing is work hp downloads give and error message and do nothing and all the other drivers seem to be doing the same thing and advice or tips or knowledage of were and how to install the sound card drivers would be greatlly apericated.

You might want to read up on this post from the Archives concerning your same problem:

Basically, it says that your Audio is AC97 which crosses over to the SiS7012 chip.
